student journalist at large
about me
Hi! My name is Eva Levin and I am a student at Emerson College with a major in Journalism and a minor in Political Communications. Previously, I attended Beverly Hills High School, where I was Copy Editor of the Watchtower Yearbook and Beverly Highlights Newspaper.
During my time at Beverly, I joined the Yearbook staff and pushed myself out of my comfort zone. I improved on my writing, while also learning about graphic design and photography. Because of this, I am a very well-rounded journalist with expertise in many fields.
I have wanted to be a journalist since I was 11. I loved to tell stories, but becoming an author wasn't enough. I loved meeting new people, but I couldn't make a career out of it. That is when I found Journalism. I took my biggest interests and found the perfect job. Most importantly, I want to become a journalist because I want to improve the world. I believe that I can change the world (no matter how small of a change) by reporting the truth and telling people's stories. Call it whatever you want (most people refer to it as "youthful optimism"), but I really think I can make the world a better place through my writing.
